Well, I have passed the first hurdle. I passed the first two assessments with HD in both. Now that I’ve gotten passed the first assessment, the next ones shouldn’t be so worrisome.

I haven’t been on Zazzle or Redbubble in a while. I might do some later today when I have a break from study.

I haven’t done any art in a while either. My studio is a mess, and I have yet to face tidying it up. No excuse I know. 🙁

Well, I’ll catch you all later. I’ve got some studying to do. 🙂

The couple in this painting are my parents on their wedding day a little over 21 years ago. I did this in just one afternoon, with just minor tweaking the next morning.

Portrait of my late Grandfather. He was always inventing and finding ways to do things on the property my mother grew up on. They then moved, and he did the same on the property where he spent his last moments. It has been nine years now since both my  grandfathers went to be with Jesus.

My painting ‘Insight Eyewear Laidley’ got a Highly Commended Award at this year’s Laidley Show. I entered it into the ‘Local Scene’ class in the fine art section.

My boss bought it the wenesday after the show. It is the first painting I’ve ever sold!

Everyone is invited to the art awards opening night.

This one is soft pastel on  Canson Tex Paper. I did do this one before I did the puppy. This was the first time I used this paper, and I love it. It allows me to put more pastel down without spraying workable fixative on it.

I started this painting with pastel on a canvas, and then put acrylic on the top. I think I work better in pastel though.
